Premier Brass was founded in 1991 in Jacksonville Florida by Peter Voisin. As a brass quintet, performances ranged from church recitals, to weddings, and educational concerts. While we were in Jacksonville, Florida (1991-2005) the Premier Brass performed in local churches, retirement homes, private parties, weddings, and special occasion events. Now that we live in North Carolina ( Hendersonville and now Columbus), we continue to offer many different types of performances including private party birthday celebrations. Premier Brass Alumnae

In addition to our regular players, we have been most fortunate to play with other excellent chamber brass musician (which are listed below). Ever since the Premier Brass was founded in 1991 in the living room of Laura Beatie (with pizza, beer, and Brass Quintet literature), my musical journey has been an amazing experience for me and my wife, Pam. Performing in a brass quintet for over 29 year has inspired me to play better and compose over 130 arrangements and original compositions.
